Serious accident in Hardthausen: motorcyclists seriously injured!

On Friday afternoon at 12:30 p.m. there was a serious traffic accident on Kreisstraße 2131 near Hardthausen am Kocher. An 18-year-old driver of an Iveco sprinter got on the opposite lane in a right curve for an unknown cause and collided head-on with a 58-year-old motorcyclist. The motorcyclist was seriously injured by the impact and had to be hospitalized after emergency medical care. However, a rescue helicopter was no longer needed.

The companion of the motorcyclist, a 60-year-old, fell, but when he drove on the road over debris, was not injured. The total loss of the accident is an estimated 10,000 euros. The K2131 was fully blocked for about an hour and a half during the accident recording and the subsequent cleaning and towing measures.
