A shocking incident occurred on Saturday on Grenzhöfer Strasse: A 40-year-old father drove his four-year-old son in a Honda when the child suddenly opened his seat belt and straightened up. At this critical moment, the father had to brake abruptly, which the unsecured child hurled against the windshield with full force.

Fortunately, the little boy only suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment. The windshield of the vehicle was damaged and jumped, but did not break. The Heidelberg traffic police have taken over the further investigation into the accident. The situation once again illustrates the dangers of unsecured children in the car.
