Baden-Württemberg Day 2025: Weinheim celebrates with 20,000 visitors!

Weinheim, Deutschland - On May 18, 2025, the Baden-Württemberg Day 2025 took place in Weinheim, which celebrated great success with around 20,000 visitors. The event converted the city center into a lively exhibition area, which was played by over 40 exhibitors, companies, associations and initiatives. A wide range of culinary delights was offered and around 50 retailers opened their doors during the open Sunday. The city was extremely satisfied with the high number of visitors, as well as SWR reported.

The highlight of the weekend was a concert by Laith-Al deen in the Schlosspark, which attracted almost 4,000 spectators. On Sunday, the program was all about families, with numerous activities moderated by Stefanie Anhalt and Annett Fleischer on the SWR stage. Despite the large number of visitors, the city and the police reported a peaceful course of the festivities.

The celebrations in Weinheim are part of the “Heimat Days”, which took place in the city in 2025. Around 200 events are planned over the year to strengthen the residents' feeling of home. Weinheim is the third city in the Rhein-Neckar-Kreis, which appears as the host of the home days. A special project that was launched as part of the events is the barrier -free sanitary facility "Toilette for everyone" at Dürreplatz, which was designed especially for people with disabilities.
