New criminal director Detlef Erny: Karlsruhe leads in the fight against crime!

Karlsruhe, Deutschland - Criminal Director Detlef Erny took over the management of the Karlsruhe Criminal Police Directorate on March 1, 2025. He succeeds Ralf Krämer, who moved to Mannheim in September 2024. Erny was welcomed in the management of the Karlsruhe police headquarters on March 3. Police President Caren Denner said positively about the appointment and emphasized Erny’s comprehensive criminal police expertise.

In his first statement, Erny said that he was looking forward to working with his new team.
