Fatal accident in Marburg: Krad driver comes to help too late!

A tragic traffic accident occurred on Monday evening, March 24, 2025, in Marburg, in which a 45-year-old motorcyclist was killed. The man who was traveling on the street "Am Energiepark" with his Kawasaki wanted to overtake a white Opel, but overlooked an oncoming BMW. The collision was head-on and had fatal consequences: the motorcyclist was still died at the scene of the accident while the 25-year-old driver of the BMW suffered a shock.

The police initiated the investigation into the cause of the accident and consulted an expert. The road remained closed until around 0:40 to carry out the salvage work. Both vehicles were completely destroyed, the damage to the motorcycle is estimated at around 3,000 euros and that at the BMW at 22,000 euros. The police are looking for other witnesses of the accident that can report on 06421-4060.
