After more than three years on the run, a German citizen was arrested by the federal police at the Weil am Rhein on the Rhine. The man, who was sentenced to an eight -month prison sentence in 2021, had not started his punishment. As a result, an arrest warrant was issued against him.

The arrest took place on Saturday evening during a routine check. The requested was immediately admitted to the nearest correctional facility, where he is now sitting behind bars for several months.
