A masked thief caused excitement in Oberkochen on Saturday when he tried around 1:45 p.m. to steal a cable drum from a construction site in Dreißentalstrasse. In the meantime, the fire brigade mobilized emergency services in Gschwend to extinguish a trash can and two paper bins that were on flames in Steingasse - the police suspect intentional arson.
