Shock accident in Gaildorf: Two seriously injured in turning maneuvers!

On Wednesday afternoon there was a dramatic accident on the B19, in which two people were seriously injured. A 75-year-old driver of a Ford Fiestas wanted to turn left at the junction to Hägenau and overlooked an oncoming Citroen who was directed by a 28-year-old. The crash led to considerable injuries to both drivers, who then had to be taken to the hospital. The property damage amounts to around 20,000 euros, both vehicles were no longer ready to drive and were towed.

Another incident caused traffic chaos on the BAB 6 on Thursday morning. A 31-year-old driver got stuck with her tractor-trailer in the construction site area between Crailsheim and Kirchberg after she had gotten green. The truck loaded with concrete parts could only be freed by a towing service after a rescue. In the meantime, the right lane was blocked, which led to considerable backlog. The recovery was still possible at the time of reporting and it was not without consequences for traffic.
