Change of coach at TV Neuler: Bernd Maier takes over from 2025!

Neuler, Deutschland - In the soccer district league team TV Neuler, a change of coach is imminent. Stefan Rettenmaier, who shaped the team in 2023/2024, will give up his position as a coach at the end of the season. In his first season with Lorenz Hinderberger at his side as an assistant coach, the duo reached 7th place and secured relegation at an early stage. Hinderberger will also step shorter and cannot continue his office as an assistant coach for private reasons. Nevertheless, he remains supportive to the team.

The TV Neuler has already found a successor for Rettenmaier: From the 2025/2026 season, Bernd Maier will take over the responsibility of the first team. Maier not only brings many years of experience as a player in higher-class football, but has also passed a number of stations as a coach in the district and national leagues, including at TV Lindach, SG Bettringen and TSGV Waldstetten.

A positive sign for the future development of the club is the contract extension with Klaus Fuchs, who trains the second team of TV Neuler. Fuchs will start his sixth season as the main trainer responsible and remains an integral part of the sporting orientation of the club.

The decision to replace Rettenmaier and Hinderberger from next year does not seem to have been easy for those responsible for TV Neuler. Nevertheless, one is confident that Maier, with his experience horizon, can give the team new impulses in order to further promote the ambitions in the district league.

In a similar context, it can be seen that change of coaches are not unusual in other clubs. BV Herne-Süd, also a district league team, recently changed his coach André Fuchs in second place in the table despite a strong season. New coach Dennis Hasecke should give its debut on Tuesday, while in direct comparison the league leaders FC 96 Recklinghausen lurks.

Even with other clubs, the coaching question is always a central topic. All the more, the upcoming upheaval at TV Neuler is being pursued.
