Car theft and accidents: Police asks for evidence of witnesses!

In a number of incidents, weekend thefts from vehicles in Rainau and Bopfingen were reported. A stranger searched a Mercedes-Benz on a farm in Rainau between Saturday evening and Sunday morning and stole a wallet. Several cars were broken up in Bopfingen, including a closed Opel, from which a small amount of cash was stolen. The Ellwangen police ask for instructions on witnesses on 07961 930-0.

Another incident occurred in Riesbürg, where a road user damaged a garden fence with his vehicle between Friday and Saturday and then fled, while in Schwäbisch Gmünd two accidental escape took place on a supermarket car park and in Hauffstrasse, which caused damage of around 2,500 euros. The police are calling witnesses to report. Another incident led to a collision between an e-scooter and a car in Mutlangen, with the 16-year-old driver being slightly injured.
