Art horse in Ellwangen shines in new splendor after restoration!

Ellwangen, Deutschland - On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Ellwangen riding club, an important work of art, the dumpling horse, was renovated and ceremoniously handed over on May 16, 2025. The art horse, which was originally designed by Karlheinz Knoedler as part of the "Schwing Die Hufe" campaign at the turn of the millennium, was heavily weathered over the years. Ulrich Brauchle, an Ellwanger painter, took over the restoration and brought the work of art back to the Ellwanger colors red and blue as well as with golden accents for classmut and noblesse back in shape.

The rustic project not only reflects the creativity of the artists, but also contributes to the preservation of Ellwanger Marketing and Cultural History. In this regard, Tobias Fleischmann, the chairman of the riding club, thanked the supporter Willi Böltz for his financial help to restore the work of art. The horse had been outdoors for 25 years and was in an unfortunate condition.
