On Tuesday, the Pforzheim traffic police started comprehensive control on Autobahn 8, which targeted 46 trucks within five hours. The results are alarming: In the case of nine vehicles, the load securing was insufficient, and in five cases the technical condition of the trucks did not correspond to the necessary standards. Particularly explosive - three vehicles were overloaded, which is a great security risk.
In addition, ten violations of the ban on overtaking and three violations of the prescribed steering and rest times of the drivers were found. Two vehicles also had an expired main investigation, and a driver had no necessary EU license with them. In two other cases, there were minor violations of the dangerous goods regulations.
