On Monday morning, a dramatic traffic accident occurred on the B36 in the direction of Karlsruhe. At around 6:35 a.m., the driver of a Skoda got on oncoming traffic and crashed head-on into a 40-tonner-a shock moment when the vehicles collided with the Bietigheim exit. The collision ensured a large rubble field and led to a double blocking of the road, while the rescue and towing measures were underway.

The Skoda driver suffered minor injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital for examination. Fortunately, the truck driver was not injured. Information on the property damage incurred is still pending. The police have started the investigation into the course of the accident and the exact cause.
