Shock on the A5: Police checked food transport - 21 violations!

On Monday morning, extensive controls on Autobahn 5 led to numerous legal steps against violations. The officers of the Bühl motorway police station built a control point in the Oberfeld car park, which focused on animal and food transport. Supported by traffic police officers, food controllers and official veterinarians, they took a close look at 21 food transport.

Results of the controls were alarming: five violations of the food hygiene regulation and two against the Driving Personnel Ordinance were found. There was also a complaint due to defective load securing and three other violations of the accident prevention regulations. The control authorities thus clearly show that they act against uncertain practices in the transport industry.
