Drug dealer arrested in Schorndorf - police searched for the apartment!

Schorndorf, Deutschland - On Monday evening a 50-year-old man in Schorndorf was checked by the police. Since he could not present an ID card, the officers accompanied him to his apartment, where indications of drug trafficking were discovered. The Stuttgart public prosecutor then ordered a search that led to the man's arrest. On Wednesday he was brought before the judge who issued the arrest warrant. The accused is now in a correctional facility.

In a traffic accident on Thursday morning in Schorndorf, a 23-year-old Opel driver wanted to turn left and overlooked an oncoming 39-year-old driver, which led to a collision. Both vehicles were no longer ready to drive after the accident, the property damage is estimated at around 10,000 euros. Another incident occurred around 8:15 a.m. when an unknown driver in Eichendorffstraße damaged a barrier and a parking ban sign, which caused damage of around 1,000 euros. Witnesses are asked to report to the Backnang police station.
