Bisingen is celebrating: Maultaschen and music at the colorful community festival!

On September 22, 2025, a happy community festival was celebrated in Bisingen, which was organized by the Protestant parish. At the beginning of the festival, the community members gathered for a festive service, which was opened by organist Heinz Marquart with an impressive organ prelude. Pastor Ulrich Günther gave the sermon, while a gospel choir under the direction of Jörg Sommer provided the musical accompaniment. Such a service traditionally marks the start of the festive activities, such as it is common at many community festivals.

After the service, the guests streamed into the decorated community center, where numerous activities awaited them. For lunch there was the popular homemade Maultaschen, which were particularly popular. A colorful program of games, crafts and painting was offered for young and old, so there was something for everyone. Table football was also part of the entertainment options, while members of the parish council and volunteers always showed a good hand in looking after the guests.

Variety of offers

The variety of offers ensured that all areas were covered. In general, such celebrations show the commitment of the communities and offer a platform for encounters. As with the community festival in Bisingen, it is also the case in other cities where traditional programs are followed by a church service, often with a culinary offering, which in summer can also include grilled dishes. After lunch, the afternoon was followed by coffee and cake to encourage a cozy get-together.

A special highlight was the “Church Discovery Tour”, during which Heinz Marquart presented visitors with exciting information about the church organ. Events of this kind are not only an opportunity to meet neighbors, but also strengthen the members' sense of community and invite them to get to know the church community's offerings better.
