Remembrance Day commemoration: Rottweil remembers the fallen

On November 16th, a significant commemoration of Remembrance Day will take place in Rottweil at the Ruhe-Christi Cemetery. Starting at 11 a.m., all citizens are invited to take part in this important event. The celebrations offer the opportunity to remember those who died and those who fell in the wars. NRWZ reports that the speech will be given by Gertrud Hermle, representative of the social association VdK Rottweil. The celebration is accompanied musically by a performance by the Frohsinn Rottweil-Altstadt music club.

Particular attention will be paid to the contribution of Susanne Birkenmaier, who will speak some moving words in remembrance of the dead. Maria Angela Mariano from the Catholic Italian Community of Rottweil will also hold an intercessory prayer. Wreaths are lowered and flame bowls are set up to pay respect to the deceased.
