Autumn festival start: huge party, but tragedy on the dance floor!

On September 21st, 2025, the autumn festival in Feld- and Harthausen opened with a rousing party. The DJ duo Harris & Ford heated up the audience and created a great atmosphere among the celebrants. Young guests in particular flocked in large numbers to dance to the pulsating beats of the two musicians. The festival was organized by a dedicated team consisting of Tamara Leuze, Gerhard Jaudas and Thomas Hummel, who were visibly satisfied with the first evening. After a lively preliminary program that got the party started with DJ beats, Harris & Ford took the stage at 10:30 p.m. and ensured an unforgettable evening.

But the happy and cheerful start was marred by an unpleasant incident. An assault occurred on the dance floor when a 22-year-old man punched a 24-year-old in the face after he accidentally bumped into him. The injured party was taken to a clinic with suspicion of a broken nose. The police have now launched an investigation against the attacker for bodily harm. Unfortunately, such incidents can happen again and again, especially at large events.

Safety comes first

Safety is a central issue at festivals and major events. More and more visitors also brings with it new challenges. The increase in visitor numbers requires thorough planning and the implementation of appropriate safety precautions. The aim is to minimize potential dangers and ensure the safety of all participants. The knowledge points out that good communication and coordination between security forces as well as regular briefings before the event are crucial.

A central communications system allows security forces to share information in real time, while surveillance cameras assist in the early detection of suspicious activity. Carrying out risk assessments also plays an important role when planning events in order to be able to address dangers such as overcrowding or medical emergencies in a timely manner.

Harris & Ford – An Austrian DJ duo

The two DJs Harris & Ford, consisting of Kevin Kridlo and Patrick Pöhl, have been an integral part of the music scene since they were founded in 2011. They have made a name for themselves with hits like “Das geht Boom”, which made it into the top 1 of the DJ charts in Austria. Her releases regularly reach high positions in the charts and show her talent for catchy melodies and strong beats.

During their performance in Feldhausen and Harthausen they proved once again that they know how to captivate the audience and put them in a good mood. Even if the evening was overshadowed by an incident, the memory of the successful opening of the Autumn Festival remains. A successful event that increases anticipation for the next celebrations.
