Burglary in Aalen: Unknowns steal thousands of euros from fast food restaurant!

In the night from Saturday to Sunday there were two extraordinary incidents in fast food restaurants in Germany, which attracted the attention of the police. In Aalen, strangers broke into a Burger King branch in Fackelbrückenstraße between 2:30 a.m. and 8:40 a.m. According to the police, the perpetrators reached the restaurant through the entrance door and openly opened two coffers before they searched the office space. The damage caused by property amounts to several thousand euros, but the exact height has not yet been determined. The police investigation continues to identify the perpetrators, reports the Schwäbische Post .

a missed theft

At the same time, just a few days before, a strange attempt to attempt to theft in Ingolstadt caused a stir. Three young people, including two 19-year-olds and a 17-year-old, tried to steal a life-size papk figure by the popular internet star Jens "Knossi" Knossalla from a McDonald’s branch. The figure was part of a current advertising campaign. During the opening times, the perpetrators loosened the figure with a knife from their bracket. After fled with the stolen goods in a car, their project was stopped by an attentive witness who informed the police. About half a kilometer from the branch, the trio threw the damaged papk figure out of the vehicle to continue their escape. The police were able to identify the alleged perpetrators soon afterwards, and the figure was ultimately returned to the restaurant, but whether it can be used again remains unclear how Merkur reported.

Both incidents show that in fast food branches not only the food, but also advertising can become the goal of crimes. The police actively work in both cases to ensure security in the restaurants.
