In the run -up to Christmas, numerous Christmas circles are very popular. "Alessio’s Christmas Circus" takes place on Aalener Greutplatz until Epiphany (January 6, 2024). Circus director André Kaiser emphasizes that the Kaiser family forms the core of the circus. The circus family consists of André and Tina Kaiser, her son and Tina's mother, supported by ten tent workers from Moldova. Before each introduction, the tent workers take care of the securing of the tents, the paths and animals of the circus show.
The artists of the circus come from different countries, including Germany, Austria, Moldova, Ukraine, Spain, Italy, Romania and Kenya. This season, the motorcycle ball is the biggest attraction of the circus. This has a diameter of 4.30 meters and is considered the smallest -existing motorcycle ball in the world, in which two motorcycles of the Romanian duo drive Gassolina. Kaiser reports of an accident in another Christmas circus, where seven motorcyclists plunged, as well as another incident in the "Schweinfurt Christmas circus", in which an artist fell from the death wheel. André Kaiser himself also had an accident on the death wheel, in which he broke his heels.
