Coaching4future: Outgoing hands-on lecture for technology professions in Kehl

On March 20, 2024, Tech coaches of the Coaching4future education program will give a hands-on lecture on career orientation in the MINT disciplines (mathematics, computer science, natural science and technology). The coaches will bring training and study routes closer to the students in this area and bring various high-tech exposes to touch and try it out. Coaching4future is a joint initiative of the Baden-Württemberg Foundation, the Südwestmetall employers' association and the Baden-Württemberg Regional Directorate of the Federal Employment Agency. The aim of the program is to inspire young people for technical professions and to give them a perspective for the future.

A visit to the tech coaches in Kehl follows the successful visit to the Parler Gymnasium in January. Coaching4future provides information about future-oriented topics such as automation, artificial intelligence and renewable energies that offer varied and safe professional opportunities in Baden-Württemberg. The event at the Einstein-Gymnasium offers students the opportunity to try and understand technology. The coaches present interactive lectures with videos and experimental demonstrations and bring technical exhibits with them that give the students an insight into the world of MINT professions. The selection of the topics presented ranges from machines and robots to living, mobility of the future, medicine, lifestyle and environmental protection.

In addition to the hands-on lecture, the online portal from Coaching4future offers further information. A prospect called "Karierenavigator" provides information about which STEM courses and apprenticeships fit best with personal strengths and inclinations. Network companies in the program also present their training and dual study opportunities in the MINT area.

For the editorial team, it is possible to take part in the event and take pictures for editorial purposes. The coaches are available for questions and a post -report can be created on request. TV and photojournalists are asked to respect the image rights of the pupils, and support is offered in compliance with the image rights.

In order to be able to optimally prepare the event, registration for the editorial visit is recommended. The appointment in Kehl will take place on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at the Einstein-Gymnasium.
