Automation, artificial intelligence, renewable energies - working in modern technology fields offers safe and varied career opportunities. On Tuesday, April 9, 2024, the educational program Coaching4future shows which tasks expect young people and how they can help shape the future there at the Lautereck Realschule in Sulzbach an der Murr. In their luggage, the coaches have an entertaining hands-on lecture and many high-tech exponates to touch and try it out. The Baden-Württemberg Foundation, the Südwestmetall employers' association and the Baden-Württemberg Regional Directorate of the Federal Employment Agency as part of the school-based professional orientation offer for the specialists of tomorrow are involved.
A visit to the Coaching4future event offers students from the eighth classes in Sulzbach the opportunity to get an insight into current future topics and technical professions. The coaches, biochemist Maite Maurer and chemist Katharina Prager, will present an interactive lecture with videos and hands-on experiments. You will also introduce technical exhibits to touch and try it out. The subject areas are selected by the school classes themselves and range from machines and robots to living and mobility of the future to medicine, lifestyle and environmental protection.
Coaching4future is an educational program that wants to inspire young people for technical professions. Not only professional prospects are shown, but also the diversity and importance of MINT professions (mathematics, computer science, natural sciences and technology) illustrate. The online portal www.coaching4future.de offers further information, including the "career navigator", which recommends suitable MINT courses and apprenticeships based on personal strengths and inclinations. Network companies of the program also present their training and dual study opportunities in the MINT area.
The appointment in Sulzbach an der Murr will take place on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at the Lautereck Realschule. There are two interactive lectures, one in the morning from 9:25 a.m. to 10:55 a.m. and one at noon from 11:20 a.m. to 12:40 p.m.
The educational program Coaching4future is supported by the Baden-Württemberg Foundation, the Southwest Metal Association and the Baden-Württemberg Regional Directorate of the Federal Employment Agency. It is aimed at young people who are interested in technical professions in the MINT area. The events give students an insight into different technical topics and professions, offer the opportunity to try out and aim to arouse enthusiasm for MINT professions.
