4. Luxembourg Classic: Classic rally with 100 classic cars through the Grand Duchy

On September 13, the fourth edition of the Luxembourg Classic begins in the Alvisse Parc Hotel in Luxembourg. This event attracts classic car lovers with over 100 classic automobiles from different decades. Among the drivers are prominent participants such as St. Law chef Johann Lafer and the former Luxembourg Foreign Minister Jean Asselborn. The route extends over 400 kilometers and leads through the picturesque landscape of the Grand Duchy, with significant stopover at sights such as the old town of Vianden. The event not only illustrates the fascination of classic cars, but also the cultural connection to automotive history.

The Luxembourg Classic is not only a spectacular event for classic car enthusiasts, but also has local economic implications. Tourism and gastronomy benefit from such large events because they not only attract spectators from Luxembourg, but also from the surrounding countries. Stuttgart, one of the most important automotive cities in Germany, has a long tradition in the automotive industry. Well-known brands such as Mercedes-Benz and Porsche come from here, which enjoy high importance both locally and internationally.

The fascination for classic cars is particularly pronounced in Stuttgart. Annual events such as the Cannstatter Volksfest offer platforms to support the preservation and celebration of classic models. Historically, Stuttgart was one of the key points in industrial development in Germany in the 19th and 20th centuries, especially in the automotive sector. The first motorized family of vehicles was developed in 1886 by Gottlieb Daimler and Wilhelm Maybach. These roots underline why such events like the Luxembourg Classic also arouse great interest in this country.

Another dimension of this event is the presentation of vehicles from the Losch Heritage Collection, including an Audi V8 from 1991 as well as other historical models such as a Bentley 4.5 Litre Le Mans and a Bugatti 40, both of which date from 1927. The diversity of the represented car brands impressively shows the history and development of the automobile for several decades.

Vehicle brand Model
Jahr peculiarity
Bentley 4.5 Litre Le Mans 1927 icon of automotive history, known for races
Bugatti 40 1927 A legendary sports car with a historical value
audi V8 1991 part of the Heritage Collection from Losch
BMW m3 2003 Modern classic model, very popular among collectors
In addition, the Luxembourg Classic underlines the common passion for automobiles in the region. Events like this not only promote the recognition of classic cars, but also strengthen the sense of community among the participants and spectators who share the love of automotive and history. Stuttgart and Luxembourg, both rich in traditions and history, are therefore in a special way through their automotive culture.
