FDP and CDU in the shoulder: Is black and red threatening the return?
FDP and CDU in the shoulder: Is black and red threatening the return?
In Baden-Württemberg, the CDU and the FDP show signs of closer cooperation, while the FDP faces challenges in connection with the upcoming state election. According to a report by Kontekst Wochenzeitung could quickly reconcile a coalition agreement with the CDU. Both parties prominently show the end of the shoulder by participating in the FDP parliamentary group leader Hans-Ulrich Rülke in events of the CDU. They have considerable intersections, especially in educational policy.
The view of a black and yellow majority in the state parliament in March 2026, however, appears unlikely, since the survey values of the FDP are currently 4 percent-a significant decline compared to the 8.3 percent in the 2016 election. Rülke emphasizes the possibility of a new edition of a grand coalition, similar to the ruling times from 1966 to 1972 and 1992. Rülke's colleague Hagel criticizes the SPD, which makes it difficult.
demands for reforms and education policy
A separate initiative under the direction of fd-landtag-bw demands in an open letter to the prime minister of Baden-Württemberg that bureaucratic hurdles are reduced and social-economic reforms are implemented. Dr. Hans-Ulrich Rülke expresses that the requests should be taken seriously, and criticizes the fatigue of the government managers, especially Prime Minister Kretschmann. He is accused of playing for temporary standard reductions.
Rülke emphasizes the falling educational quality and characterizes digitization as stagnating. This development made a "defibrillator" necessary to cope with the challenges. He receives support from Niko Reith, the economic policy spokesman for the FDP/DVP parliamentary group, who addresses the stagnating business location of Baden-Württemberg. Reith criticizes the state government for its preoccupation with minor matters and the growth of bureaucracy and over -regulation.
Both politicians emphasize the urgency of creating new framework conditions in order to promote the areas of education, innovation, modernization and digitization of the administration. In addition, a real relief for companies is required to avert the risk of an endangered prosperity.
