LBBW starts its own generative AI solution for digital transformation
The Landesbank Baden-Württemberg (LBBW) has started its own generative AI solution with Blue.gpt. This is intended to serve to make products and services as well as the address of customers more individual and thus to deepen the customer relationships. The tool is based on the Chatgpt technology from Openaai and is provided via the Microsoft Azure Openai Service. Blue.GPT is available in German and English and can, for example, support large amounts of data or improve the forecast ability. In the future, LBBW is planning to use Genki applications in internal knowledge management, sales and risk management.
The use of blue.gpt is subject to strict regulatory and legal requirements in order to protect data protection requirements and business secrets. Therefore, the LBBW supports its employees with a comprehensive training concept in dealing with Genki. In addition to e-learning and presence training, regular consultation hours and prompt-nights are also offered to practice the use of Genki in everyday work and to share knowledge within the bank.
The pilot phase of Blue.gpt, which started at the end of 2023, was successfully completed. A total of around 8,200 employees of LBBW and BW-Bank can access the application.

With the introduction of blue.gpt and the planned use of gene ki applications, the LBBW takes an important step in its digital transformation. The more individual design of products and services as well as the improved customer approach can have a positive effect on the local economy and customer satisfaction. At the same time, however, the strict regulatory and legal requirements must be observed in order to protect data protection and business secrets. The comprehensive training measures of the LBBW for your employees should ensure that the handling of Genki is responsible and correct. Thanks to the successful pilot phase from Blue.GPT, all employees of the LBBW and BW-Bank can now benefit from the advantages of this AI solution.
