Biberach in football fever: Start indoor circuit championships!

The 36th indoor circuit championships will be held in the Paul-Heckmann district sports hall in Biberach from January 3 to 5, 2025. 30 teams from different play classes get ready to fight the title. The defending champion SV Mietingen will not participate this year.

The Favorites include the national league team FV Biberach, SV Reinstetten, FV Olympia Laupheim and SV Ochsenhausen. FV Biberach, who took second place last year, has clear ambitions for the tournament victory, but the preparation for the second half of the season is also emphasized. SV Reinstetten is aiming for maximum success after leaving the intermediate round last year. The FV Olympia Laupheim faces exciting opponents and is looking forward to attractive games.

The district league team Türkspor Biberach, SG Ummendorf/Fischbach, SG Ringschnait/Mittelbuch and FV Bad Schussenried could also cause surprises. Turkspor Biberach has set itself the goal of at least among the top eight. The SG Ummendorf/Fischbach organizes the tournament together with SV Ringschnait and would like to survive the preliminary round. Players of the SG Ringschnait/Mittelbuch sees their own group as a challenge and wants to be successful.

The fun of indoor football and the special atmosphere of the tournament are the focus. FV Bad Schussenried is aiming for a successful final round. SV Ochsenhausen has priority on the second half of the season in the Landesliga and wants all players to appear healthy at the start of training.

In the first games of the indoor football district championship, some teams have already shown impressive performances. FV Bad Schussenried I and SV Birkenhard were able to move into the intermediate round confidently and remained unbeaten in their preliminary round groups. The A-Kreisligist SF Bussen caused a surprise by remaining undefeated in group 1 and qualifying. After a deficit of 0: 3 in the first game against relay, SF Busen achieved a 5: 3 victory.

In group 2, the favorite Birkenhard won his opening game against FV Olympia Laupheim with 2-1 and thus secured two more victories against Ochsenhausen II and Bad Schussenried II. SV Birkenhard and FV Olympia also reach the intermediate round.
