Colorful art from Laupheim: WFBM employees design garden furniture

A creative fireworks in Laupheim! Employees of the workshop for people with disabilities (WFBM) of the St. Elisabeth Foundation have teamed up with graffiti artists Philip Walch in order to transform an ordinary garden set into a colorful work of art. Under the motto "Everyone is an artist", they sprayed them with passion and lots of fun, while Walch, known as "Stone Graffiti".

The previously simple tables and benches now shine in bright ketchup-red and noble emerald green. After a white primer, the set was provided with living colors. The employees Desiree and Daniel started and created impressive motifs with spray cans: colorful circles, planets, faces and animals now adorn the seating furniture. The artwork is rounded off by the artist's signet and the year of manufacturing to guarantee its durability.

an unforgettable experience

The joy and enthusiasm of the participants was noticeable, while they learned the master's spraying technique and became creative themselves. "Not much distinguishes the graffiti students from a WFBM from others," explains Walch, who regularly gives workshops. "Everyone is enthusiastic about doing." After drying, a clear coat was applied, which ensures that the colors do not color even in bright sunshine.

The colorful set will find its place of honor in the outside area of the Laupheim workshop and will be used for relaxed breaks in the future. A work of art that not only beautifies the surroundings, but also the creativity and commitment of the employees!
