Quarters safari through the region-an excursion to parish church work
"God lives in the neighborhood" - under this motto, many parishes and church -related facilities are committed to the neighborhood work. It is about enabling a good and integrative neighborhood between the church, social providers and the municipality. In order to achieve this goal, four exemplary projects are presented in the Stuttgart area that practice a new and ease of accommodation.

The excursion ends at the Martinskirche in the Eckartstr. 2 in 70191 Stuttgart. Interested representatives of the media are cordially invited to participate and report.
The stations of the excursion are the Johannesforum Wendlingen, a joint community and support center of the parish and Bruderhausdiakonie, the neighborhood in Esslingen-Weil, where parish and diakonia together promote the cohesion in the neighborhoods, the "neighborhood package without space" in the new development area/Neuhausen on the Fildern, supported by the Catholic parish of St. Petrus and Paul,, The Café Kränzchen, which is operated by the community foundation Stuttgart e.V., the Catholic parish of St. Georg and the Evangelical parish of Stuttgart Nord, as well as the Martinskirche in Stuttgart-Nord, which, in addition to its worship functions, also serves as a location for the day care center of the district.
