Get to knowprofessions in a playful way: Information about career opportunities in the technical sector
in KenzingenThe Coaching4future education initiative offers young people orientation in the career choice in the technical sector. On June 3, 2024, the coaches of the educational program at the Kenzingen high school invite you to find out about MINT professions (professions related to mathematics, computer science, natural sciences and technology) and to experiment with technology. The event is supported by the Baden-Württemberg Foundation, the Südwestmetall employers' association and the Baden-Württemberg Regional Directorate of the Federal Employment Agency.
The skilled skilled workers in technical and scientific professions are already great and will increase even further in the coming years by retiring. This leads to challenges, especially in Baden-Württemberg, since the federal state houses many industrial and high-tech companies. Young people often do not know the diversity of the apprenticeships and study opportunities in the MINT area or do not know what these professions work on. It is therefore important to show professional prospects in this area before graduation.
The coaches at the event in Kenzingen present interactive lectures with videos and hands-on experiments to the students. Various technical exhibits are also presented that invite you to touch and try out. The content of the lecture is chosen by the school classes themselves and can treat topics such as machines and robots, living and mobility of the future, medicine, lifestyle and environmental protection.
