Finding the right job is often difficult for young people. The educational program Coaching4future therefore visits the Schiller-Gymnasium in the Pforzheim district of Büchenbronn on Thursday and Friday, June 6th and 07th. Two coaches give the pupils insight into important social future issues and thus linked job profiles to inform about training and study routes in the so-called MINT disciplines of mathematics, computer science, science and technology. In your luggage you have an entertaining hands-on lecture, experimental workshops on topics such as robotics or environmental protection and a lot of technology to try out. The Baden-Württemberg Foundation, the Südwestmetall employers' association and the Baden-Württemberg Regional Directorate of the Federal Employment Agency for the specialists of tomorrow are involved with Coaching4future.

whether craft, industry or research and development - the skilled worker is already great. If more and more people are retiring in the coming years, it will be even bigger. Baden-Württemberg with its many industrial and high-tech companies in particular feel the lack in technical and scientific professions. In addition, the diversity of the apprenticeships and subjects is often not known or young people have no idea what they do and what they work on.

That is why it is important to show the professional perspectives in the MINT area before graduation. The educational program Coaching4future has been traveling at secondary schools in Baden-Württemberg since 2008. On Thursday and Friday, June 6th and 7th, 2024, the coaches also invite you to inform and participate at the Schiller-Gymnasium in Pforzheim-Büchenbronn.

You support the pupils of the eighth and ninth classes with insights into current future topics in professional orientation. The two tech coaches Biologist Stefanie Godel and chemist Cornelia Mattern present the young people a lot of technical exhibits to touch and try out during an interactive lecture with videos and hands-on experiments.

In complementary workshops, the young people get to know the basic principles of robotics. With the help of cube modules with different functions, you can solve specified tasks. In the "Technik" workshop, the young people face fictional environmental threat and solve tasks and puzzles from the MINT area under time pressure as with an "escape game". They should find out who is responsible for the fictional pollution of a water and thus threatens the health of the population. It is then shown which technical and engineering professions the industrial location of Baden-Württemberg can be shaped in reality in reality and what role digitization plays.

The online portal www.coaching4future.de offers further information. The “career attendant” prospect reveals which STEM courses and apprenticeship professions best match the personal strengths and tendencies. Network companies in the program also present their training and dual study opportunities in the MINT area.

We cordially invite you to visit Coaching4future at the Schiller-Gymnasium in Pforzheim. The interactive lectures and workshops offer good opportunities to obtain O tones and image motifs. The coaches Stefanie Godel (B.Sc. Molecular Biosciences and Physiology) and Cornelia Mattern (M.Sc Chemistry) are happy to answer questions.
