Telekom improves mobile phone supply in the Ravensburg district - expansion with LTE & 5G

Deutsche Telekom has improved mobile phone supply in the Ravensburg district in the past two months. Two locations were rebuilt, one with LTE and one with 5G. This expansion leads to a larger area cover and an overall higher range in the district. The reception in buildings should also improve. The new locations are located in the municipalities of Bad Waldsee, Kißlegg, Ravensburg and Schlier. In particular, the location in Kißlegg should ensure better supply along the A8 motorway. The locations in Kißlegg and Ravensburg also serve to improve mobile phone supply along the railway lines in Baden-Württemberg-Süd.

Lena Raschke, company spokeswoman for Deutsche Telekom, emphasizes that the need for bandwidth is continuously increasing and the company will therefore continue to pace when the mobile network is expanded.

currently, Telekom operates 108 locations in the Ravensburg district, with a budget coverage of around 97 percent. A further 54 locations are to be added by 2026 and the expansion with LTE or 5G is planned at 68 radio masts. However, the implementation of these plans depends on the cooperation with the municipalities or owners, since areas for new locations have to be rented. For the renting of roof or mast locations, you can contact the German radio tower, which builds the mobile phone locations of Telekom. Telekom currently has more than 36,000 mobile phone locations and is building around 1,500 new locations every year.
