Australian developers offer all NFTs on Solana and Ethereum for free

- Geoffrey Huntley has developed a pirates-like platform with 17 GB NFTS, of which he claims that it is all NFTs on Solana and Ethereum blockchains.
- The developer says that the project is an art that aims to show the absurdity of NFTS, which in his opinion can be copied and reproduced contrary to the country -wide opinion.
Are not fungal tokens (NFTS) only massively overpriced JPEG images? An Australian developer thinks like this and has copied 17 gigabyte NFTs from the Solana and Ethereum Blockchain and provided free of charge, although some of them were sold for millions of dollars.
nfts have developed into a multi-billion dollar industry and one of the fastest growing sub-sectors in the cryptocurrency industry. They are supposed to revolutionize the art industry and all other large global brands are pushing. Some of the smartest minds believe that they are the future of the industry and will even define other industries, including the real estate industry.

Huntley disagrees. The developer has created The Billion Dollar Torrent, a collection of "Allen NFTS on the Solana and Ethereum blockchains". He uploaded this large file to NFT Bay, a platform that is modeled on the notorious peer-to-peer search service Pirate Bay.
jpegs? An attack on NFTS
NFT fans refer to the use of blockchain to assign unique property rights to the pictures than one of the greatest advantages of NFTS. But what if someone could right -click and save the pictures - would they be so valuable? Had beeple sold for 69 million US-Dollar someone else reproduces it and could claim property on the new "fake" picture?

in a (n Interview, Huntley explained why NFTS only believes that nfts believes that are glorified jpegs.
Basically, I hope that people through The NFT Bay understand what people are buying when they buy NFT art. It is nothing more than instructions on how you can access a picture or download it. Between the buyer and the seller there is currently a gap in understanding that is used to exploit people.
nfts are sold for millions of dollars. As such, Huntley runs the risk of being sued for copyright infringement because he has taken over property and shared other people's “art”.
However, as he said in the interview, "many artists are very satisfied with the website. If someone wants the removal of content, the DMCA deactivation process in the footer of The NFT Bay is documented."
However, there is a place for NFTS, Huntley believes. Their value lies in the authentication "similar to the blue verification crunch of Twitter". But unlike in the current setup, this can be achieved without blockchain, he says.
