Formerly known as Bitkeep Wallet, Bitget-wallet has now presented an improved MEV protection function (maximum extractable value). By integrating with the research and development organization Flashbots, Bitget Wallet wants to tackle the widespread problem of MEV attacks in the entire Ethereum network and offer users a safer and more convenient on-chain trade experience.

The "MEV protection" function is now automatically activated by Bitget SWAP, the integrated swap function of the wallet, and protects users from potential risks such as front running and "sandwich attacks" when using Bitget Swap on-Chain-token transactions on Ethereum. In addition, the use of the MEV-Share protocol of Flashbots Bitget Wallet enables you to automatically return MEV profits from transactions to users without additional measures being necessary.

MEV attacks occur when malicious actors manipulate and reorganize commands within a block and thus create opportunities for illegal value generation by force other users to loss. Flashbots are still committed to further developing the MEV market in order to create a more efficient, more decentralized and fairer on-chain environment and to significantly reduce the negative effects of MEV and Pre Execution strategies.

At the beginning of this year, Bitget Wallet received a collaboration with flashbots to enable Bitget swap users to access the transaction bundling method of flashbots and to optimize the order of the transaction execution to ensure the transaction priority. With this mechanism, users can deal with potential MEV threats that result from different execution sequences and transaction slip. The latest update from Bitget Wallet brings with it improved and user-centered "MEV protection" function that is clearer for users who carry out trades on Bitget Swap.

Through this partnership, Bitget Wallet and Flashbots together want to mitigate the negative consequences of MEV onto the market, increase general transaction security, protect users from malicious actors, optimize transaction fees, avoid unnecessary costs and promote the Ethereum ecosystem towards fairness and sustainable growth for all users.

Since the swap trade is the focus, Bitget Wallet endeavors to operate its global user base as the most user-friendly and most optimal web3 trade wallet on the market. This cooperation is further evidence and underlines the commitment of the platform to offer an unprecedented on-chain trade experience for everyone.
