Bank of New York Mellon Corporation (BNY Mellon), Amerikas ældste bank, bliver stadig mere aktiv i cryptocurrency -området. Banken har indført en forældremyndighed for cryptocurrencies gennem sin nye digitale aktivenhed.

Virksomheden er reguleret af den irske centralbank og fungerer som en forældremyndighedskonto for cryptocurrencies som Bitcoin og andre digitale aktiver såsom ikke -fungbare symboler (NFT'er).
Derudover vil Digital Innovation Hub også levere forældremyndighedstjenester for digitale centralbanks valutaer (CBDC'er), så snart de er tilgængelige. Ifølge rapporten vil det digitale innovationsnav gøre det muligt for sine kunder at beholde, overføre og udsende digitale aktiver.
