Chainlink announces the general availability of its CCIP

• The Chainlink Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) is now generally available (GA).

Chainlink, the decentralized computer platform for web3, has announced that your cross-chain Interoperability Protocol (CCIP) was officially released for general availability.

The chainlink team said in a blog entry Each developer CCIP can now integrate into all supported blockchains.

The permissionless access also means that developers can use CCIP to transmit tokens and send any messages and data to smart contracts in supported networks.

ccip starts in GA for important milestones

According to Chainlink, GA currently supports interoperability with Ethereum, BNB Chain, Arbitrum, polygon, avalanche, base, optimism and wemix. The Chainlink team found that CCIP will soon integrate more chains.

The general availability of CCIP begins after Chainlink has reached several milestones in recent months. This includes the introduction of the bridging app vans and the addition of native ETH and USDC token transfers.

In general, CCIP supports cross-chain token transfers with ETH, USDC and link.

The team also updated the pricing of the protocol to increase the efficiency of token transfers and cross-chain-wide messages.

Chainlink has highlighted important CCIP integrations in the crypto and blockchain area, including the defi platform AAVE, the cross-chain-cross-chain protocol Xswap and the game developer Wemade based in Korea.
