Google Cloud's bigquery data sets add 11 new blockchains

The public bigquery data sets from Google Cloud now include 11 new Blockchains.
  • polygon, avalanche, tron and polkadot are among the new networks that have been added to the program.
  • Google has expanded the blockchain data offer of its cloud computing unit by expanding its "BigQuery" program to 11 new blockchains.

in a (n Announcement said Google Cloud that the 11 networks include "the most sought -after blockchains" and, among other things, complement the data records for Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and Dogecoin.

BigQuery from Google Cloud adds 11 new chains

blockchains added to the public bigquery data sets are polygon, tron, polkadot, avalanche, arbitrum and Ethereum (Görli). Others are cronos, fantom (opera), Near and Optimism.

According to Google Cloud, this expansion enables scalable data processing, with developers being able to access on-chain data outside the chain without having to query the blockchain directly.

" We do this because we tell us blockchain foundations, web3 analysis companies, partners, developers and customers that you want a more comprehensive overview of the cryptol landscape and would like to be able to query more chains ", James Tromans, Head of Web3 on Google Cloud, and Alberto Martin, Head of Web3 product management.

Apart from the eleven networks, Google would like to improve the Bitcoin BigQuery data set by adding ordinal numbers/SATOSHIS (SAS). Orders enjoyed rapidly growing popularity in 2023 and contributed to the general overload of the Bitcoin network.

Google Cloud recently closed a strategic alliance with Zilliqa and joined the blockchain platform as a stake-seed-node operator. At the beginning of this month, the interoperability protocol Layerzero selected the cloud computing giants as standard messaging verifiers.
