Humanode, a Layer 1 blockchain created with the Polkadot SDK, has developed to the most decentralized blockchain network based on the Nakamoto coefficient. With 706 active validation nodes, the Nakamoto coefficient for the humanode is 236 and thus exceeds the previous number one, Mina, which has a nakamoto coefficient of 155. Polkadot now occupies the 3rd place.

The Nakamoto coefficient is a measure that states how many node operators are required to control the proportion of a layer 1 blockchain that is sufficient to shut down the network if validators coordinate this. The larger the number, the more decentralized the blockchain.

"Proof-of-Stake blockchains usually focus on the largest validators or pilot protocols such as Lido, which actually have the infrastructure. Once Lido fails, people will start to question the decentralization of proof-of-stake networks. They have millions of knots, but the real control over the consensus is in the hands of some less. We always wanted to change, ”says Humanode co-founder Victor. "In humanode, a person can only start a node that is checked with cryptobiometric technology. All validators have the same performance, which means that the decentralization of the humanode chain is increasing to the number of human nodes. Imagine which Nakamoto coefficient is achieved when we achieve 10,000 knots!? Impossible.

Humanode will soon present his Governance Protocol, in which a human knot has only one voice, which creates the first democratic DAO that will control the further development of the core protocol and its ecosystem.

Humanode is based on the Polkadot SDK as an EVM-compatible layer-1 and is the first cryptobiometric blockchain in which a person = a knot = a voice. It uses private facial recognition that protects against several accounts and bots that use the retrospective Airdrops, Daos, Defi, NFT-Mins, Gamefi and more. Just one year after the start of the Minnette, Humanode has 500,000 users and over 70 projects that use its cryptobiometric technology.
