Next generation internet platforms are decentralized, says Variant co-founder

In a conversation with Emily Chang von Bloomberg, the co-founder of the Variant Fund, Li Jin, said that the venture investment company will support projects that want to benefit from ownership. The remarks come weeks after variant has announced the creation of a $ 110 million fund for cryptocurrency and blockchain-based start-ups.

jin described the relevance of the ownership economy and explained that all internet platforms of the next generation are built, operated and developed by their users. While the manager described the recent rally in the crypto market as exciting, she explained that variant's long-term investment decisions make it immune to the heights and depths of the market.

In terms of the quick growth of the NFT market, Jin said that the future of NFTS was beyond its current application in digital works of art and collector's pieces. Games and access to special experiences via NFTs will push the growth of the industry forward, added.
