Pontem Network takes part in the Polkadot subsidiary for substrate builder

pontem is pleased to be able to tell you that you have reached the funding program of Paritys Substrate Builder after 3 months. This program, sponsored by Parity, the developers of the Polkadot blockchain, enables projects that create substrate-based blockchains, applications or ecosystem components, to receive support for technical challenges, strategies and the development of ecosystems from the extensive experience and resources from Parity.

pontem is one of over 50 projects that was included in the substrate Builders program and is supported by Parity Technologies in their technical and community roadmaps and sets predetermined milestones to achieve their goals and start their project.

As part of the Builder’s Program, Pontem has recently completed milestone No. 1, which includes the following achievements:

1. Start of your own parachain

pontem has converted its independent substrate blockchain into a Parchain using the Cumulus framework and the Nimbus consensus extensions.

1. Takeover of the DIEM standard library for compatibility with pontem

When taking over the new standard library, compatibility problems occurred. To solve the problem, some functions were restricted and some functions were only created for Pontem.

In addition to these important achievements, Pontem was also able to update all of his environments to the latest version of Move VM, including tools, VM Wasm and Pallet.
