Russia supports crypto exchange in a new ascent

As Izvestiya reported today, the country seems to put these plans on hold in favor of a new framework to support the crypto exchange.

Anatoly Aksakov, the publication, cited the chairman of the State Duma Financial Market Committee. According to Aksakov, Russia is now aiming for the introduction of a framework that provides for rules for the use of crypto exchanges for cross-border processing.

The plans were supported by the Ministry of Finance, which was reportedly against the introduction of a single national stock exchange for digital assets.

Ivan Chebeskov, director of finance policy in the Ministry of Finance, told Izvestia that the ministry focused on proper and comprehensive regulation of cryptocurrencies.
