SEC drops his case against Metamask, says Consensys

- Consensys has announced that the SEC will fall against Metamask.

The US Securities and Exchange Commission has agreed to drop their case against Metamask, said Consensy's founder Joseph Lubin.
In an announcement Posted on x the co -founder of Ethereum, that the supervisory authority and Consensys had agreed to terminate the legal dispute, had brought the SEC through the lawsuit of the item pocket provider.
"I am pleased to be able to tell you that consensus and the SEC have in principle agreed that the case of the security authorities should be rejected in relation to Metamask. Subject to the commission, the SEC will submit a provision with the court that concludes the case effectively," he said.
Consensitive complained in June 2023 and claimed that the company's operations via Metamask had violated the US laws of securities.
