FCE celebrates strong away win: 3: 1 against Oberried!
A new wind blows at FC Emmendingen! After a disappointing appearance in the last home game against TV Köndringen, the excitement was great how the team would deal with the form -strong SF Oberried. The answer came quickly: with an impressive performance that both the fans and interim coaches Mario Rombach and Marius Kasten delighted. As RegioTrends reported, the team was highly concentrated and committed from the first to the last minute. The spark jumped over, and every player in white fought with full commitment.
The game was fiercely competitive from the start, but both teams acted fairly. An unfortunate collision led to a serious injury to the Upper Rieder goalkeeper, which had to be replaced at half -time. In added time of the first half, it was Patrice Wassmer who took the lead for the FCE with an impressive free kick from 20 meters. A real bang that put the audience in ecstasy!

But the tension was preserved until the last minute. In the 70th minute, the referee decided to handle the Emmendinger penalty area, which resulted in a penalty for Oberried. The Swiss player took the opportunity and shortened to 1: 2.
