Starting in technology professions: Coaching4future invites young people in Eppingen to participate

heat pumps, wind turbines, hydropower plants - environmentally friendly technologies belongs to the future. Anyone who develops all the heat pumps that are waiting for wind turbines and installs the turbines in hydropower plants will show the coaching4future program on Wednesday, July 17th, 2024, at the Hartmanni-Gymnasium in Eppingen. The pupils provide two tech coaches with an interactive lecture, hands-on experiments and exhibits to touch professions, training paths and study opportunities in the MINT disciplines of mathematics, computer science, science and technology. With Coaching4future, the Baden-Württemberg Foundation, the Südwestmetall employers' association and the Baden-Württemberg Regional Directorate are committed to the Federal Employment Agency for more workers.

The event in Eppingen offers young people the opportunity to find out about the opportunities and diversity of the technical professions shortly before graduation. Baden-Württemberg is particularly dependent on clever minds as industrial and high-techland that drive technological developments. Therefore, the educational program Coaching4future invites the pupils of the Hartmanni-Gymnasium in Eppingen to find out about technical professions.

The program includes an interactive lecture in which the two tech coaches Stefanie Godel and Dr. Orfeas Dintsis present technical exhibits to the students to touch and try it out. In videos and hands-on experiments, the students get an insight into current future topics and can be supported in professional orientation. The subject areas are selected by the school classes themselves and range from machines and robots to living and mobility of the future to medicine, lifestyle and environmental protection.

In addition, network companies in the program present their training and dual courses in the MINT area.

The event in Eppingen will take place on Wednesday, July 17th, 2024, at the Hartmanni-Gymnasium. There are two interactive lectures, from 9:25 a.m. to 10:55 a.m. and from 11:20 a.m. to 12:50 p.m.
