Deutschland - A radiant moment for Toni Kroos! The football star will be awarded the Golden Heart at the ZDF gala “Ein Heart for Children”. The highly expected live show, which is broadcast in the second at 8:15 p.m., not only promises emotions, but also a concentrated load of prominence!

The reason for this special honor? Since 2015, the world champion with his Toni Kroos Foundation is committed to seriously ill children. This foundation helps unbureaucratic when it comes to fulfilling special wishes or financing therapies and aids that make the often challenging life of the families affected. And best of all: Toni Kroos bears the cost of the foundation itself!

Kroos itself emphasizes the importance of social engagements: «It is incredibly important that we are socially committed. Because I think we have to make a certain balance between people who are doing well and the people who have difficult starting requirements for life. » During the donation, moderator Johannes B. Kerner will present auxiliary projects in Germany and worldwide together with over 80 prominent guests from society, sports, politics and show business. The stars personally accept donations for children in need on the phone!

The list of guests is impressive: actresses such as Uschi Glas and Jutta Speidel, sports legends such as Katarina Witt and Isabell Werth as well as comedian Guido Cantz and social media stars like Noel Robinson are expected. Musically, the evening is accompanied by greats like Andrea Berg and Roland Kaiser, while British pop singers such as Calum Scott and Chris Norman provide additional highlights.

The aid organization “A Heart for Children” has collected an incredible 511 million euros in over 45 years and supported more than 25,000 projects. An evening that not only maintains, but also gives hope and help for many!
