Ludwigshafen, Deutschland - A glamorous evening full of honors and festive mood: On November 16, 2024, the traditional honor and officers' evening of the carnival club Mannheim traditional Corps e.V. Schlossgarde of the city of Mannheim took place in the sold-out boathouse. In the midst of cheering guests and a festive atmosphere, not only was it back to a successful year, but also set the course for an even more exciting campaign. Particularly noteworthy is the inclusion of Togbe Céphas Kosi Bansah, the King of GBI traditional Area Hohoe, as an honorary officer with the carnival name "Roi des Fontaines". Reserve Corps leader Martin Wiegand and commander Dirk Neumann carried out the ceremony, while the Brigadier general and royal chamberlain Thomas Friedl honored the new officer with an anniversary medal. The guests, including the pair of Churfürsten from Schwetzingen and numerous delegations from other carnival clubs, ensured an impressive supporting program.

The promotions that evening were another highlight. Holger Wimschneider was promoted to lieutenant colonel, while Armin Öchsner and Sabine Stanke received the rank of a lieutenant and an Amazon. The grandson of the Vice Commandant Dieter Jacoby were also honored, which underlined the family atmosphere of the event. The appearances of the club's own choir "Red Hosen" and the "quilted fools" created a exuberant mood that the audience tore from the chairs.
Another magical moment was the cake's solemn cut by the Schwetzingen Churfürstin, who presented the sweet delicacy with a saber. The evening ended with a vocal appearance by King Céphas Bansah and a polonaise that all present. The musical accompaniment by Ralf Siegel rounded off the festival and ensured unforgettable memories.
