In Mannheim, a comprehensive reform for the use of e-scooters will come into force in the city. Free parking outside the specified areas remains, but under strict requirements. These provisions are intended to facilitate the use of e-scooters in suburbs, where public transport is less dense to optimize the so-called "last mile", according to the city administration.
