Mannheim starts training program: Volunteering Fit for the future!
Mannheim will offer an extensive seminar program for the qualification of volunteers in clubs and for civic Engagement in 2025. The focus is on strengthening the professional and personal skills of the participants as well as the reflection and exchange of experiences.
A special highlight of the program will be an excursus to digitization, which is supplemented by information events on January 30 and February 27. The communication and administration for the clubs are to be facilitated with a new club app, confirms mrn news.
seminars and funding opportunities
non -profit organizations can also finance development costs through existing funding programs, with only ongoing operating costs to be borne. Applications of funding can be submitted by June 30, 2025. In order to better understand the financial possibilities, the club representative Florian Riegler will provide information about the municipal association fund on March 20 and June 4, which should support Mannheim clubs financially in identity -creating events.
The training program includes a total of 15 seminars that deal with topics such as the procurement of funds, legal innovations, for example the e-bill 2025, as well as innovative approaches such as artificial intelligence. In addition, an impulse lecture on self -care and resilience in volunteering is offered. Many of the seminars are offered online, in the evening or on weekends to enable flexible participation. The program is organized by Sarah Schmitt, the representative for civic engagement of the city of Mannheim.
Digitization in the association
Digitization is also increasingly important in the non -profit sector. Many clubs already offer digital offers, such as digital general meetings and programs. Numerous funding is available to support these developments, as reports German volunteer. These funds come from regional and nationwide funding and are often specific to certain subject areas.
Digitization includes the conversion of analogous to digital technologies. The measures range from the implementation of digital membership and annual general meetings to the management of membership and donor lists to the planning of fundraisers to social networks. To ensure that the associations receive the necessary training and qualifications, additional funding opportunities for technical equipment and training are necessary.
