Allmendingen cheers: First medal for growing rifle at DM!
In Allmendingen, celebrations are celebrated because a significant success was achieved for the youth of the shooting club. The student team, consisting of Lisa Dürr, Senta Netzer and Elias Klemm, won the first medal for SV Allmendingen at a German championship and secured third place in the “Air Rifle Dreesstilzt” competition in Munich.
On the renowned Olympic facility in the Bavarian capital, the trio achieved a total of 1741 rings. In this discipline, the shooters have to hand in a variety of shots from different positions: first 20 shots in the kneeling, then 20 in lying down and finally 20 standing. This excellent team performance was rewarded with bronze.
outstanding individual positions
The individual performance of the shooters was particularly impressive. Elias Klemm showed up in the individual ranking for students male and reached sixth place under 40 starters with 579 out of 600 possible rings. "It was a great experience and I'm proud of the medal," said Klemm after the competition. However, the competition was harder for the students: Lisa Dürr had to prove a lot of stamina with 101 starters. She landed in 17th place with 582 rings, while Senta Netzer scored 580 rings and took 22nd place. Due to their placements, all three talents secured a coveted master needle that is awarded to shooters who cut off in the first third of the individual ranking.
All three also wanted to prove themselves in the "Air Rifle Students" discipline, which meant to give up 20 shots within 30 minutes. Elias Klemm managed to achieve tenth place out of a total of 86 participants with 198.5 rings. Warming was just as important for Lisa Dürr and Senta Netzer, although the results were different here: With 198.9 rings, Durach took 37th place and Netzer with 197.1 rings 64th place among 189 shooters.
The commitment of SV Allmendingen is not only shown in the air rifle discipline. Jasmin Gaumann also completed her competition in the air pistol class "Juniors II" and achieved 513 rings, which brought her 49th place. "It is fun to train with my teammates and compete in such competitions," said Gaumann.
The entire performance of the youth of SV Allmendingen is an impressive sign of the future of the club work. Their successes not only motivate the talents themselves, but also cause a sensation and interest within the shooting community.
The championships were an excellent example of teamwork and the sports spirit that the shooting club shows. This could possibly produce further talents in the future that will find their way to similar heights.
