Ceremonial schooling: Headmaster welcomes new first graders in Adelsheim!
On Saturday, September 14, 2024, the Martin von-Ombelheim school experienced a special day because the school enrollment ceremony was on the program. In the festively decorated Eckenberghalle, surrounded by colorful decorations, the pupils of Chor-AG and the second class opened the event with a rousing appearance. Under the direction of Ms. Elise Schweizer at the piano, the elementary school choir sang the song "Today is a very special day", which immediately felt the joy and excitement that was in the air.
rector Florian Loser welcomed the 62 excited school beginners and tried to mitigate their nervousness a little. He confessed to the children his own excitement and wished them to find the joy of learning, curiosity and many new friends. Mr. Loser emphasized the importance of starting school for the whole family and encouraged the parents to actively contribute to school life. The first school lesson followed immediately after the celebration, which gave many children a feeling of anticipation and adventure.
special highlights of the celebration
Another highlight of the event was the play "How the Cat came to the 'K'", which was performed by the talented Schüle channels and students in class 4b under the direction of Ms. Sigrid Albrecht and Ms. Tabea Siebert. With a lot of creativity and support, the children turned into colorful animal figures who told an exciting story about identity and self -discovery. The little actors were rewarded by the spectators with warm applause and conveyed in a humorous way how important their own name is.
Following the play, the primary school choir sang the lively song "The Great Day", which reflected the anticipation of the children. Representatives of parenthood, like Ms. Lilia Poleschner from the parents' council, addressed encouraging words to the new students and families. Ms. Veronika Köpfle, chairwoman of the association, also spoke by the poem "What a jubilee, what joy" by Friedrich Morgenroth, and wished the children a lot of courage and joy in learning.
Mayor Wolfram Bernhard did not miss the opportunity to welcome the new students. He provided everyone a welcome gift in the form of a voucher for the city library in the town hall, which was also well received by the parents and children. In addition to this nice gesture, he invited those present to open the meeting place on September 28, 2024 and presented a warm welcome to the school beginners.
a full success
The solemn framework rounded off principal Ms. Sigrid Albrecht, who thanked everyone involved for their efforts, in particular the choir and the teachers who contributed to the success of the event. The first graders brought the hall together with their class teachers to a colorful bustle when they ended the celebration with a ceremonial excerpt behind their teachers (1a: Ms. Christine Müller and Ms. Andrea Auerbach, 1b: Ms. Tabea Siebert, 1c: Ms. Miriam Steigleder).
The fact that the celebration was a great success was also shown by the fact that there were hardly any leftovers at the buffet. The photo board was a popular starting point and many souvenir photos were taken. At 12:15 p.m., the new students had experienced their first lessons and were able to end the special day together with their families. This day of schooling became an unforgettable event that will be remembered. If you want to learn more about the events, you will find further details in a report www.meine-news.de .
