The Ministry of Economics, Labor and Tourism in Baden-Württemberg organized the third "Forum Netzwerk@BW-Festival of Continuing Education" together with the regional offices for vocational training.
State Secretary Dr. Patrick Rapp emphasized the importance of continuous vocational training in view of the changing labor market.
The forum attracted members of the network for vocational training in Baden-Württemberg, personnel and educational officers from companies, project partners and other interested parties. Different lectures and interactive workshops dealt with topics such as New Work, Future Skills and the challenges of digitization, globalization and demographic change.
The network for further training, consisting of 1,700 further training institutions and 31 regional networks, has been committed to the regional training offer for 55 years. The regional offices offer free and provider -neutral advice on professional training and promote lifelong learning. They have been supported by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labor and Tourism.
The event gave the participants the opportunity to find out about current trends and innovations in the training industry and prepare for the challenges of the future. The discussion about topics such as a shortage of skilled workers and artificial intelligence shows that further training can and must make a decisive contribution to the design of the world of work.
